Shooting into the sun without a proper filter is probably not a good idea. Some may consider the small circular reflection a flaw in the photo. Flaw or not, I like it.

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

I love it!!!! And filter smilter—this is perfectly beautiful!
Thanks, Beth Ann. I liked the reflected light.
I like it, too! 🙂
Thank you, Jules. Muchly.
You rebel, you : )
Always pushing the envelope, Lisa. That’s me.
Hi, Lenore Diane .. this picture makes me think you might be feeling better! I certainly hope so! I know nothing about cameras, so I have a new little point and shoot that we just let do it’s “thing” but haven’t tried to shoot into the sun yet. I admire (envy) all you folks who are knowledgeable about filters, shutters, etc. and who take beautiful photos. I enjoy your pictures every day … whether they are perfect or not, I would not know. The story that accompanies them is ALWAYS interesting to me! Get well soon.
Hello Donna – thanks for visiting. I was feeling better, unfortunately this cough is getting the better of me. I am happy to be rid of the aches though. Woo hoo! These pictures I take … truth be told, I haven’t a clue what I am doing. I just snap what I like. I try to be fancy, using different modes on my automatic camera, but it’s more luck than skill. With digital cameras you have the ability to take 100 pictures, and find one gem. (No one knows about the 99 bad ones.) giggle, giggle.
Thank you for your kind words.
Oh so do I!!!
You have good taste, Kim. I like that about you.
I like it, Lenore.
Thank you, Patti.
Hi,

HaHA! And you have a flare for one-liners!
