Many phases exist in life. Strictly speaking on the subject of family, I consider infancy Phase 1 and toddler hood is Phase 2. Once kids start school, parents enter Phase 3. How many Phases in parenthood? Who knows. But, I am going to talk about my experience within these phases.

I was around 27 years old. My Dad died three years prior. I was living at home with my Mom, and I was in bed. I believe it was late morning or early afternoon.
The specific details are blurry, but I remember my sister-in-law coming in my bedroom to see if I wanted to feel her pregnant belly before she went to the hospital to deliver her baby. I am fortunate enough to know many of my cousins on my Mom’s side of the family. I know and I consider myself close to my Aunts, Uncles, 1st cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins, etc. Before dying, my Great Aunts, Great Uncles, and Grand Parents were part of my life, too.
