Project 366: Day 11

Enough with the family, eh? Well, how about a splash of color?

I work Tuesdays and Thursdays at the home of my boss. I love sitting in her office, because she surrounds herself with a veritable plethora of colored post-it note pads, notebooks, markers, pencils, highlighters and binder clips. (Yes, binder clips come in a color other than black!)

This week, while reviewing bills with her at her desk, I asked her if I could snap a shot of her cup o’color. Permission granted, I send you colorful thoughts for the middle of your work week!

  1. I love color, too. I color code my calendar at work to keep track of client meetings, personal appointments, days off, etc. It really helps to find things quickly. I would never have thought to snap a picture of a cup of pens. You are very clever and creative. Love the picture!

    1. Welcome to the neighborhood, Patrick. I appreciate you stopping by and saying ‘hello’. Thank you for your kind words regarding my photo. It’s one of my favorite shots so far.

    1. Seriously? Colorful markers beats the eyes of Wilbur? Well, yeah – I admit, I agree with you.
As Stasha said – it’s a happy shot. A cup full of happy! Thank you, Kim!

    1. Bridget – I kid you not. I brought one home. My husband stared at the thing – he was literally dazed and confused. “Did someone color this with a marker?” He asked. I laughed hard thinking he was kidding. I about pee’d in my pants when I realized he was serious. Yep, colored binder clips exist!

  2. Hi,
Where would we be without color, I use different colors all the time especially with bookwork, color coding is the only way to go, without all these wonderful colors I would be lost. 🙂

    1. Hilarious. I hope the scissor blades are pointed down. I’d hate for you to cut yourself while reaching for the ruler or old ticket stubs or pennies or … (Thank you!)

    1. Glad you liked the picture, Louisa. And, welcome to the neighborhood! Thanks for taking the time to visit and leave a note letting me know you stopped by the place. I appreciate it!

That was my thought on the matter. Your comment?
