Project 366: Day 13

Are you superstitious? Check your calendars … today is Friday the 13th.

My Dad was born on May 13th, which meant celebrating his birthday on the dreaded Friday 13th from time to time. Thankfully, no one was ever hurt, injured or chased by an ax or a knife wielding guy in a mask.

To me, Friday the 13th is just another day on the calendar year. However, if you are feeling a little nervous and anxious today, I have good news. Rocket Dog is alert and ready to tackle any Friday the 13th trickery. Rocket Dog will keep you safe. Continue reading “Project 366: Day 13”

Project 366: Day 11

Enough with the family, eh? Well, how about a splash of color?

I work Tuesdays and Thursdays at the home of my boss. I love sitting in her office, because she surrounds herself with a veritable plethora of colored post-it note pads, notebooks, markers, pencils, highlighters and binder clips. (Yes, binder clips come in a color other than black!)

2012: A Photo A Day

Full disclosure, I took this picture last year (2011). Because I have yet to see this guy in 2012 – I did the best I could with what I had on file.

Regardless of the picking and bickering, we still love each other. (Whatever. You love me!) Our Dad died before I was married, and this guy honored me by walking me down the aisle. (Bonus: He didn’t even trip me!) So today, January 9th 2012, I wish my one and only brother (the best one and only brother) a happy 50th birthday! Cheers to you! Continue reading “Project 366: Day 9”
