A Year in Photos: Project 366, Day 1

Inspired by Stasha and Kim, I’ve decided to take part in posting one photo every day for the next 366 days of 2012: Project 366.

While I hope you will enjoy my year in photos, I am looking forward to saving these moments for my kids. One thing blogging has given me is an opportunity to document special times with the boys, as well as share stories that I hope they find entertaining when they get older.

My apologies in advance, if you subscribe to my blog. You may become annoyed with the daily notification. Then again, maybe – just maybe – you will enjoy seeing a snapshot of my life through the lens of a camera.

On this day – the first day of January in the year 2012 – I say, “Welcome.”

    1. Picnik is fun, Kim. Thanks for the ‘411’. I am glad we are doing this together, too. I’m trying NOT to fret about snapping a new shot every day. Rest assured, even if we did not post daily – I’d still stalk you via Twitter.

    1. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness. Now I am nervous, SIG. I think I write better than I take pictures. Be kind. (smile) I’m still leaving the real photography and art to the pros – like yourself! 🙂

    1. I’m so glad you like the idea, Priya. I look forward to your visits throughout the year. I may have to cheat and use a photo I took last year, which you inspired. Thanks for your time, Priya.

  1. Great idea, Lenore. I’m looking forward to seeing your photos every day. A picture is worth a thousand words.
I’m not familiar with Picnik so I’m off to check it out.

    1. A picture IS worth a thousand words, Jackie. Keeping my mouth shut and letting the picture do the talking may be one of the biggest challenges for me this year. (smile) The main reason I access Picnik is to get my name on the photo, but you can also use it to create several different effects, etc.

  2. I am so not disciplined enough to attempt a post-a-day anything. And if I did, people would get really sick of looking at pictures of my dogs!
Good for you for taking on this challenge!

That was my thought on the matter. Your comment?
