Project 366: Day 35

As I mentioned earlier this week, the pooches went to the vet for their annual visit. Thankfully, both dogs came home with a clean bill of health. The pooches came home to even more loving from us, too, as we are grateful to have their companionship.

Project 366: Day 34

This week took me inside the perimeter. That’s what we locals say when we pass under or over I-285. I grew up inside the perimeter, so when I cross the line, I always feel as though I am going back home.

On my way into the city, I drove by the King and Queen towers. What are the King and Queen towers? Well, if you are in Atlanta or passing through, the towers are a landmark.

Rob loves the buildings, and whenever the kids see the buildings they will say (without fail) “Look Mommy! It’s the King and Queen towers. Those are Daddy’s favorite.”  They always say “Mommy”, because Daddy already knows the buildings are his favorite. However, if Daddy is in the car at the time, the boys will add: “… right, Daddy?”

Project 366: Day 33

The pooches went to the vet this week for their annual exam. Because the two play together by tugging and chewing the other one’s collar, we do not put rabies vaccine tag on their collar. No worries people, the pooches are vaccinated.

The pooches celebrate their 10th birthday in September, so we opted to have their senior blood-work done. I’m always a little sad when the pooches I’ve loved over the years hit the two digit mark. The nearly 10yrs we have enjoyed with Wilbur and Cherokee have flown by so fast. I hope we have several more years with these precious pups.
