Project 366: Day 46

I snapped this shot using my camera phone, so the photo today is not the sharpest or clearest. Because I am still a dumb phone owner (and proud), the quality of the photo is not ‘smart’.

Sometimes, on the way home from school, Joe asks if he can start his homework in the car. His teacher discourages doing homework in the car, because she wants to make sure the child is truly focused on the work at hand. Still, I have been known to say ‘yes’, when he asks to do his work in the car.

Project 366: Day 45 (Two for Tuesday)

I spent Saturday at home, alone. It was wonderful. I was able to sit on the couch and read over 200 pages in one sitting. That feat almost never happens, for reasons including but not limited to interruptions, distractions, exhaustion and work.

The weather was windy and cold, so the dogs and I found warmth in blankets and furry dog beds. At one point, when I got up to handle some laundry, I returned to find my warm seat  was overtaken, and the new occupant was not phased at my return. Even after I took the first picture, he did not budge. Then I said, in a tone indicating he was being a bad puppy, “Wilbuuur.”
