You know what? Driving to work during rush hour traffic is like a prolonged game of follow the leader.
You know what else? Unless you’re the lead car, the scenery doesn’t change.

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

The traffic looks hellacious, but the scenery is breathtaking! Not feeling all that sorry for you here, Lenore. Sorry.
I agree! The scenery looks pretty damn good compared to where I live.
That’s OK, Peg. You need not feel sorry for me. I love where we live. I even pass a wild turkey during my commute. I hope to take a picture of him before the year is out. But, the traffic is moving too quickly by the time we reach him. I drive my kids nuts, because I am constantly talking to the turkey. You can feel sorry for my boys… they’d appreciate it.
The scenery is beautiful, Lenore buuut … when one drives it day after day on the way to work, it’s the traffic that probably stands out.
Oh Maxi… the scenery wins out – regardless of the traffic. I promise. I am so very grateful for where we live and the scenery that surrounds us. I love it.
Kind of reminds me of the opening scene from ‘Office Space’…
🙂
Appropriate, eh? 🙂
That is why, as I explained to the kind officer, I was not speeding, I was merely attempting to get a change of scenery.
Hahahahahahaha! Nice!
I know what you mean. My commute is HARROWING. I have to walk up like SEVEN STEPS and I’m like 25 feet from my bed and it’s laughing at me and Hot Joe’s still in it.
It’s just not fair.
How long have you had this job? I can’t believe the commute hasn’t caused you to throw in the towel. I admire your dedication, Kim.
Lenore, this is just looking like a Hollywood movie’s clip. Great photo.
Thanks, Arindam. I love shots through mirrors.
Hi,
It does look like beautiful scenery on your way to work, it is a shame about the traffic, but still at least your not stuck with looking at nothing but concrete and huge buildings. 😀
What traffic?! (smile) The scenery is too pretty to sweat and worry about the traffic. (smile) Truly, I’ll take trees to buildings any day!
Makes for good photo ops, though! lol
It did! It did!
