Decompressing on a Saturday Morning

Good morning. My word for today is decompress. As I type, I am sitting by my husband and enjoying a casual Saturday morning. The boys spent the night at their grandparent’s house, last night. My husband and I went out for Mexican food and then enjoyed a quick trip to Target. We came home early, and we popped in the movie ‘The Hangover’. The movie started off funny enough, but we became bored with it after 45  minutes or so. As my husband said, “It just got silly.” I smiled when he said that, because ‘Raising Arizona’ is one of his favorite movies, which is nothing but silliness. I suppose his shrugging off ‘The Hangover’ is an indication of his age. Old silly movies are classics, new silly movies are just a waste of time. Continue reading “Decompress”

Cacy’s Creations: Brenda’s Break

Hello. My name is Cacy. I am a chronic people watcher. When I am in a public place, my friends often have to repeat themselves, because I am too busy watching people. I suppose it is annoying to those trying to tell me something. But, I quite enjoy it. And, I quite enjoy my creations, Cacy’s Creations.

Today is Tuesday, and I am meeting a friend at a local cafe. I arrived early, so I could get my fill of people watching. I don’t want to appear too rude to my friend, though she no doubt expects me to pay little attention to what she has to say. I paid for this

Hello. It is Noon and I am sitting at a local Starbucks. This blog may give me reasons to get out, enjoy more coffee and make live observations of the world around me. Rather than head to the airport for people watching, which really was hampered with 9/11 and the security changes. I mean, prior to 9/11, you could walk your family and friends to the gate.
