What am I doing?

What am I doing? I’m so confused.

In 2010, I started this blog to write out and explore my thoughts and feelings related to my marriage and my life. I hoped readers would relate to my stories, and I hoped I would start conversations.

Mid-2011, I began exploring flash fiction. I tapped into my alter egos (the many voices within) and created various stories inspired the group. I started taking part in writing challenges offered by other bloggers. And, I took part in Blogdramedy’s 12 days of BlogFestivus, which I enjoyed greatly. Continue reading “What am I doing?”

Do I know you?

Do I know you? I follow your blog, and I read your thoughts, but does that mean I know you?

Do you know me? I write honestly, and I share too much openly, but do you know me?

I have a handful of friends, provided a handful equals three. More specifically, I have three friends whom I stay in touch with on a regular basis (meaning we make contact more than four times a year) and could easily identify in a line-up (not that any of the three would find themselves in a line-up).

These three friends are my friends within the real world. I see them. I touch them. (Hugs, people. Jeepers.) And, sometimes – when they pass gas, I can smell them. Continue reading “Do I know you?”

A chain. Yes, a bloody chain.

When I was a kid, I played tag: plain tag, freeze tag and television tag. Nowadays, kids don’t play the game of tag from yesteryear. Now, kids play social media tag.

Faces are tagged in pictures posted on Facebook, hash-tags are used when tweeting and now – the blogosphere is taking part in the social media game of tag. Of course, here – within the blogosphere, tag is the nice way of saying ‘chain letter’.
