Ring Around the Rosy

I have not written a new post in nearly a week. I just told Rob that the voices in my head are so loud, I find it hard to maintain my composure when the real world becomes noisy.

My goal is to release the crazies within the next two day.

Before shutting down my computer and heading to a gathering of friends, I found this video of the boys. Filmed in 2008, the boys were ages 3 and 2. As I watched, I smiled widely and the voices were silent. Peace. God, I love my boys. Continue reading “Ring Around the Rosy”

Project 366: Day 35

As I mentioned earlier this week, the pooches went to the vet for their annual visit. Thankfully, both dogs came home with a clean bill of health. The pooches came home to even more loving from us, too, as we are grateful to have their companionship.

Project 366: Day 34

This week took me inside the perimeter. That’s what we locals say when we pass under or over I-285. I grew up inside the perimeter, so when I cross the line, I always feel as though I am going back home.

On my way into the city, I drove by the King and Queen towers. What are the King and Queen towers? Well, if you are in Atlanta or passing through, the towers are a landmark.

Rob loves the buildings, and whenever the kids see the buildings they will say (without fail) “Look Mommy! It’s the King and Queen towers. Those are Daddy’s favorite.”  They always say “Mommy”, because Daddy already knows the buildings are his favorite. However, if Daddy is in the car at the time, the boys will add: “… right, Daddy?”
