I came out of my bedroom and walked down the hall. As I neared the living room, I heard one of our ‘puppies’ starting to stir. I recognized the sounds, and I knew that pup was not settling himself on the dog bed. He has a tough life. For the record, his sister (in the background) is now resting on my bed. Lucky dogs.

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

He looks to me like he’s missing a snuggle buddy.
Yeah, his sister can’t quite jump up to be with him. She has a bad knee.
I was thinking more on the lines of a human snuggle buddy! (ME!)
They sure look comfy. 🙂
Such the life, eh? Makes my hard back chair feel harder. 🙂
Must be hard for them to maintain that pace.
I don’t know where they find the energy, Oma.
He looks a little like my buddy! (I’m sure I’ve said that before, but Sai’s on my mind especially prominently today.)
I need to pop over and read about your pooch, Deborah. I’ve seen the posts – but I haven’t had a chance to read.
Oh yeah, it’s a dogs life. Blessings ~ Maxi
And these pups have a good dog’s life. Blessings to you, Maxi.
Love it! Reggie always climbs onto the couch and sighs a great big breath. I’m sure the effort to get onto the couch (where he’s not supposed to be BTW) is exhausting.
Wilbur can hop up with no problem, but his sister Cherokee needs help. *sigh* I’m a sucker for puppy dog eyes, so I’ll help her up on the bed. I don’t mind them getting on the bed as much as I mind the couch – but again, I’m a sucker for puppy dog eyes.
He’s missing the remote, though!
😉
Hahaha! He doesn’t get those privileges. 🙂
