Joe and Charlie are always up for a nighttime expedition. I am grateful the expeditions take place at home, and they return in time for bed. Before I know it, they will venture out on their own. *sigh*

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

Joe and Charlie seem a little pensive at entering the woods in the dark. Maybe the thrill of adventure will overcome their fear. They probable won’t go far anyway.
Blessings – Maxi
They had to be still so they could see the lighting bugs light up, Maxi. 🙂 They were being strategic with their hunt.
What did they collect this time around? I wish my kids liked bugs and exploring at night. Instead they run inside at the first sign of a mosquito.
Lighting bugs. Always lighting bugs, Darla. Well, lighting bugs at night. The list of bugs they collect during the day is endless.
I see Charlie has a bug box, they are on a serious expedition!
When hunting for lighting bugs… it is always a serious expedition, Patti. (hee, hee)
You’ve got years…enjoy every bit of them.
Also, FYI, the teenaged years aren’t nearly what you hear they are.
We are enjoying it, Oma. Well, most of the time. 🙂
