Thirty days ago, I posted a picture of what I considered chaos. I was exposing our dirty laundry, so to speak, as it pertained to the kids’ toy room.
Thanks to a friend, order has replaced chaos. The entire house feels lighter. I feel lighter. The world is a brighter place. May the glow being emitted from our toy room brighten your day.

Today: Day 54

Thanks, Bunny Chow. It would not have taken place, had my friend not spoken up to say she wanted to help. I told her she was an answer to a prayer. A trivial prayer perhaps – but a prayer nonetheless.
Nothing like a clean space to brighten and lighten as you say.
So true, Georgette. Honestly, my shoulders are no longer tight.
Looks great! I did the same thing this week. We’re stuck inside so might as well finally organize enough so I can see the floor of the playroom again.
Good for you, Darla. Being stuck inside can sometimes be a good thing.
OH I would have LOVED the opportunity to tackle that. My OCD just jumped up a notch in jealousy.
Hee, hee. If you ever come visit, I am sure we can find something for you to tackle.
Your friend has good organizing skills, the kids toy room is proof. Bet lots of moms would like to give her a job at their house.
Blessings – Maxi
She really could make it a profession or side-job, Maxi. The gift she holds is great. Honest to goodness, I do not have organizational skills. She was a godsend to me.
How do I ‘get me’ some of that order!
(also, Lego’s are the BEST toys of all time… I’d say.)
Legos are the best and the worst, but mostly the best. (smile) I’ll see if Lynne travels. 🙂
Entropy always wins, LD. Entropy always wins.
Lalalalalalalala….. I can’t hear you.
Wow! I even feel better now. 🙂 Nice job, all of you. Are you for hire?
You mean, is Lynne for hire? You don’t want my help. 🙂
Looks great! Have been meaning to add you to my blogroll and am doing so posthaste – hope you don’t mind x iz
Why thank you, Izzie. I appreciate the attention.
Wow, it looks great, very good job. 😀
I will pass your kind words to Lynne – the creator of the beauty.
What a friend, Lenore! Bet you have her on speed dial! 😀
You know it, Amy! She is a wonderful resource.
WOW! And are the boys keeping their end of the bargain?
They are. And Linda, it is nice to see them play in the playroom again. Yep, this changes everything.
Whoa! Is your last name Houdini, by any chance? Impressive.
Ha. Lynne’s last name may be Houdini, not mine. I think my last name is Pigpen. 🙂
I don’t know where you went. Or maybe why. I don’t know why.
Either way, hope you’re well.
I am well, Leslie. I sent you an email. (I know, shocker, eh?) I’m still here … swimming, swimming, swimming.
Oh the joy of even HAVING a “toy room”…. Can’t relate but it looks awesome! Its a dream of ours…. some day. 🙂
I know, Deanne. You’ll have it one day – I know it. In the meantime, you are a Queen of Organization. I was blown away with how well you have your house managed. Really – you have a gift.
