I greet you with a good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night.
I hope your Sunday is a day of rest and relaxation. May you find moments to pause, reflect and give thanks.
As I mentioned yesterday, we are watching Lily, while her parents are out of town. I contemplated vacuuming her parent’s place, as a surprise for when they returned. Lily put me in my place.

I loved this! Thanks for the laugh this lazy Sunday.
The fact that she freaks out before the vacuum is even on gets me the most. Silly puppy. Glad you had a laugh! Good morning, Darla!
So cute — everyone knows you cannot (and should not) vacuum on a Sunday.
I’m grateful Lily was here for the reminder. I’ll never forget again. 🙂
Loved this! I am so glad I vacuumed yesterday – that Lily is one smart housemate!!
PS I love your voice. It’s sweet and softy like honey on a warm biscuit … lovely.
MJ
Point of clarification, MJ: that’s my doggie voice. My ‘Mom’ voice is quite different. I doubt Joe and Charlie would describe it as sweet and soft. (smile)
Lily cracks me up with the vacuum thing. It doesn’t get old for me, but – she’s not my dog. 🙂
Hahaha! Allie leaves the room when I pull out the vacuum and then creeps back in and then tries to see if she can handle it but she can’t so she leaves again but Luke comes in and just watches so Allie things she can be brave too so she tries again then she runs into Noah’s room and hides.
Have I mentioned she’s half pit bull half lab?
Wuss.
Allie needs to get out and market her ‘Wuss-like’ self. Break the stereotype that pit-bulls are mean and aggressive. 🙂
I love the thought of her trying to brave the vacuum because Luke can. Dogs are awesome!!
Hah! That’s a dog after my own non-vacuuming heart. Great to hear both your voices! 🙂
Thanks, Steve. As I told MJ – that’s my dog voice. My human voice is very different. 🙂
Lily on the other hand… that is pure Lily!
Hahaha! Nice.
Glad you liked it, Bridget.
Well I vacuumed yesterday, Sunday. Lotte just jumps onto a chair and stays there until I have finished.
Lotte is a smart puppy to stay out of the way. Cherokee stays out of the way, and Wilbur seems to follow me, though neither one of our dogs mind the vacuum.
Vacuuming on Sunday is against the law. We need more dogs like Lucy to enforce that.
Your voice is beautiful. You should be a news anchor.
That’s my dog voice, Stasha. My Mom voice is not quite as ‘beautiful’. (smile) Thank you for the compliment!
Lily and I have a lot in common!
Influenced by dogs is a good thing, Patti. (Provided you don’t go around sniffing the butts of others.)
Yes, that IS frowned upon in some circles. lol
When the vacuuming is for fun (such as when the vacuum is wielded by a toddler who loves no toy more than he loves the vacuum), is that still a no-no? I might have to fly out my son and his vacuum if I want the truest answer, eh? :p
When done in fun – it is all good. I would never deprive a child from fun, especially when vacuuming is considered fun. (smile)
Hahaha…
Lily knows best, I’d say!
🙂
Dogs are smart like that, SIG.
Lily is one smart cookie! I imagine she’d say to the vacuum, “Sit! Stay!”
Exactly, AA!
Oh…I’m late…so late. Don’t even ask if I have vacuumed.
Cute doggie and what a smartie.
Me, too, Georgette. I am up late trying to get caught up on reading. Now, I am off to bed. Vacuuming has been put off for another day (again).
