Project 366: Day 36

For those sports fans living in the U.S., today is a big day. Today is Super Bowl Sunday – “Sunday!” “Sunday!” “Sunday!”

While the Good Greatsby is hoping folks will chant his blog website during the game, I’m simply hoping your Sunday is filled with good food, good folks and good fun. If you par’take in libations, please ‘libate’ responsibly.

Thanks to my neighbors for the use ofย  their television and their Terry Bradshaw autographed football.

  1. Hey, I love the new look! Please don’t tell me you’ve had it for months – I’m already so ashamed of my blogger slacking ways. Oh, oh, oh – new word! Slagger. Definition: what you get when you combine blogger and slacker.

The Good Greatsby is hilarious, always. I will gladly chant his blog website during the halftime show in an attempt to drown out and distract from Madonna.

It’s 8:14am. Is that too early for me to have chips and dip?

    1. You’re safe, AA. I got the new look within a month, I think. Maaaaybe a month and a half. I love the word Slagger. I relate to the word Slagger, too. If it weren’t for the photo a day – my presence here would be nonexistent.

It is never too early for chips and dip, AA. Consider this the pre-game pre-game celebration – enjoying apps is essential for any and all pre-game pre-game festivities.

    1. I am not loyal to either team, Georgette. However, we’re watching the game with our neighbors, and they are devout Patriot fans. So, while under the roof or our neighbor’s house…. Pats. All the way. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks you, K8. Digital cameras are a wonderful thing. The football shot … yes, well, I took 20 pictures. 20. I think the one I picked was no. 18. The rest were deleted. Digital cameras make everyone feel like a pro.

  2. Great shot. We watched mostly for the commercials (were there as many this year as in the past?) but it was a good game.

    1. I goofed, though, Patti. I assumed the game was going to be televised on Fox. I should have referred to the television listings before clicking the photo. Oh well. You got the idea. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Every year I vow I’m not going to watch any of the Superbowl (because every year the Vikings are mysteriously absent). I always break-down and watch at least a bit of it, in the end, though. This year I managed to hold-out until the opening kick-off of the second half.

  4. During football and basketball games, I always tell people that when the crowd chants “DE-FENSE!” they’re actually saying, “STEVE BETZ!”.

Try it — you’ll think of me a lot more often than you do now… ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Gee, thanks for that Steve. No, really. As if the voices in my head didn’t hound me with thoughts of you enough as it is – *sigh* I’ll end up chanting “STEVE BETZ!” while watching a game on television – the kids will walk in the room, ask me what I am saying, then they will start saying it … it will be anarchy! (smile) Wait. I just remembered. We don’t watch sports. Sha’woo. That was close. ๐Ÿ™‚

That was my thought on the matter. Your comment?
