Project 366: Day 20

This picture was inspired by Bridget (creator of Twinisms). Her Saturday Photos post, dated January 7th, described her shopping expedition, searching for the perfect pair of jeans.

My perfect pair of jeans are always Levis, and I always find my Levis in the men section. I don’t have to deal with the drama of whether or not I’ll fit into a single-digit size (*cough*) or a double-digit size. I simply find the waist and inseam, and I’m done.

Perhaps, if I were found by the creators of ‘What Not to Wear’ or any fashion police squad, I would be cited for:Β  Improperly fitted jeans enhancing the size of individual’s gluteus maximus. Perhaps – but I don’t care. I’m comfortable, and I’ve lived long enough to be comfortable.

Slip into something you find comfortable, and have a fabulous Friday!

  1. My flannel robe feels very good this morning. I bought some cargo pants in the men’s dept, the only place I can find pant legs as long as my legs. But I have an uneven # waist size, so even those are hard to come by sometimes.

  2. Love the relaxed connection you made. I am still searching for the perfect figure, I have many pairs of perfect jeans πŸ˜‰
I am also eating a cupcake as I type this, so there’s that…

    1. Hahahaha – I got a good chuckle at your comment regarding the search for a perfect figure. Good point. πŸ™‚
Yeah, you put down your cupcake and I’ll put down my pint of ice cream. Um, not going to happen – at least not me.
So, I’m OK with my figure as-is. πŸ™‚

  3. Nothing like a great pair of jeans – no matter which department you buy them in.
I always wondered why they can’t make women’s sizes like men’s. It would be so much easier.

    1. I agree, Jackie. Keep it simple – we are more than a size – we are a waist and an inseam. (smile)
And true – regardless of the department, a great pair of jeans is a wonderful thing.

That was my thought on the matter. Your comment?
