Project 366: Day 145 “It’s a Boy!”

I am happy to announce there is a new (albeit temporary) member in our family. When we picked Joe up from his spend-the-night visit with his friend, we brought home the friend’s bunny, Joe-joe. (Yes, the bunny’s name is Joe-joe.)

Joe’s friend and his family are heading to India for the summer. They will return in August. Until then, Joe-joe is one of us.

Project 366: Day 144

Well, school is officially over for the boys. Summer vacation is here.

Joe spent the night a friend’s house to celebrate the last day of school. That left Daddy, me, and Charlie looking for some sort of distraction from the fact that we were missing Joe.

We decided to go out for pizza. Using my non-smart, low-quality camera-included cell phone, I snapped today’s non-prize winning photo, while we waited for the pizza to be delivered … to our table. Cheers! Continue reading “Project 366: Day 144” →

Project 366: Day 143

As a kid, one of my favorite sandwiches was peanut butter and fluff (marshmallow creme). When my 2nd oldest sister was in town, she would make me my favorite sandwich: peanut butter, fluff, and jelly. A trifeca of goodness.

Joe takes after his Mom in many ways. First, he is moody. Second, he is a picky eater. Third, he loves peanut butter, fluff, and jelly sandwiches. Unlike his Mom, he enjoys a little tomato soup on top. Say it with me, “Ew.” Continue reading “Project 366: Day 143” →
