A friend of mine was going to be gone for most of the day, and she asked me if I would stop by her place to let the dog out for a bit of a porch break. While I was happy to do this favor for a friend, I also loved the opportunity to walk along their property and snap some pictures of the pooch. Of course, the pooch wasn’t the only critter looking for company.

In October 2008, I took a picture of the boys holding hands and walking together at the local pumpkin patch. Since 2008, I’ve shot the same pose of the boys holding hands. Today was our annual visit to the local pumpkin patch, which meant it was time for the annual shot of the boys holding hands and walking together.
