Project 366: Day 116

Here’s the thing, I had no intention of posting more than one picture of the Tonka truck. I mean, I have access to a plethora of subjects for photo shoots. I need not stick with the the truck.

Still, days after finding the truck in our front yard on top of the hill, I noticed he had relocated to the mailbox. Apparently, he wanted a better view of the utility truck, which I shared with you on Monday. Well, when I returned home after picking up the boys from school, I noticed the truck had once again relocated. Seems he has a thing for ride on toys.

I sure wish my boys would return the truck back to our neighbor. I’m beginning to get nervous. Continue reading “Project 366: Day 116”

Project 366: Day 114

Sunday afternoon, while gathering the kids in the car to head home from church, my cell phone rang. My neighbor was informing us that a tree fell across our driveway and took out the power. She told us to plan on parking in their driveway when we got home.

Anticipating a mess when we got to the house, we were greeted with the exact opposite. Thanks to the quick work of Cobb EMC, the men had the power back on within 15 minutes of us returning home. A span of approximately an hour and a half passed from the time our other neighbors called the power company to the minute the guys drove away.

Most importantly, the power was back on before my supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream became soup. Continue reading “Project 366: Day 114”
