A friend of mine was going to be gone for most of the day, and she asked me if I would stop by her place to let the dog out for a bit of a porch break. While I was happy to do this favor for a friend, I also loved the opportunity to walk along their property and snap some pictures of the pooch. Of course, the pooch wasn’t the only critter looking for company.

One thing I love about the approach of winter is the clear blue skies that precede the season. gone is the smog of summer. The changing colors pop against a crisp, clear, blue sky. Have a wonderful Sunday.
I wait for it all year, the uprising of marketing’s favorite word for Halloween advertisements. The word is “spooktacular”.
During our walk last weekend, my friends and I came to an area covered with the creepiest kind of vine we’ve ever seen. My friend made the comment that it resembled a web. Her comment freaked me out, as I envisioned a big, furry, black spider coming out of the vines. *Shudder* Suffice it to say, this vine is spooktacular.
