Project 366: Day 231 Research

I have a confession. I think Rob looks super-hot in his old man magnifying glasses he purchased at the grocery store.  This morning I found Rob and Joe on the couch, researching their latest project. It was enough to make this wife and mom swoon.

What are they working on this morning? Oh, they are building a metal detector with a small AM radio and a calculator. Seriously.

Project 366: Day 230 The Video

Welcome to the weekend! After school today, the boys and I went to the park with some friends. Joe’s classmate, Sophie, arrived at the park the same time we arrived. While I do not have any photographic evidence, I am here to tell you I witnessed Joe and Sophie holding hands, as they walked along the path to the playground. Rest assured, there was no romance in the holding of hands.

In other news, Joe asked me to film him while he did one of the playground thing’ga’ma’bob things. Per his request, I filmed my son. Without your request, I am sharing his performance with you. You’re welcome. Now, go slide into your weekend and enjoy it! I’ll clap for you, too. Woo hoo!

Project 366: Day 226

With school back in session, the boys and I are spending more time together in the car.

This morning, Joe and Charlie were discussing a trade. Joe wanted the crackers in Charlie’s lunchbox, and he was trying to negotiate a deal. While stopped at a red light, I captured the moment when Joe offered to buy Charlie a new Lego set, if he handed over the crackers.

Because Charlie believes everything Joe says, he seriously considered his offer; however, because I know Joe does not have money for a Lego set, I prevented the deal from taking place.
