Project 366: Day 274 Gone Camping

Friday afternoon, we loaded the car, kids, and dogs, and we headed for Tray Mountain in Helen, GA. We joined three other families from our neighborhood and spent two awesome nights in the woods. This was the first time our family has camped some place other than our yard, and we are looking forward to next time. Margaret used my camera to capture this shot of me and Charlie. Now if you’ll excuse  me, I am overdue for a shower.

Project 366: Day 270 Shadows

I took “Our Red Beauty” on Monday night, as the sun was setting. While I was taking pictures of Cherokee, I noticed her brother, Wilbur, stayed by my side. Then I noticed our shadows, mine and Wilbur’s. This shot was the spontaneous shot – my first attempt. I took several more pictures of our shadows, but Wilbur wasn’t as loyal when he was the subject. I’m guessing Wilbur is more about spontaneity and genuineness. What a great dog.
