Project 366: Day 28

Rob’s favorite flower is the daffodil. He likes the fact that the blooming of daffodils indicate we are getting closer to warmer weather and longer daylight.

We do not do gardening. Any flowers, trees or landscape one may find in our yard is due to the previous owner. Sadly, we purchased this house nearly 10yrs ago, and the previous owner has not returned to maintain her hard work. Which brings me to the reason why I like daffodils: they are robust flowers. (Azaleas, too, for that matter.) Regardless of our brown thumbs, we are greeted by several areas of daffodils in late winter/early spring.

Based on the flower, the seasons are starting to change. I hope you find a ‘spring’ in your step today.

Project 366: Day 27

This week many of the pictures I shared were taken by Joe, my oldest. Just like his Mom. Just like his Mom, he has a passion for taking pictures; and, just like his Mom, he still has a great deal to learn about taking pictures

Unbeknownst to him, I snapped a shot of my little photographer while on the way to school. No worries, I was stopped at the time. We often run into traffic on the way to school, which makes for ample picture taking opportunities. Happy Friday!

Project 366: Day 26

Just like yesterday, the picture today was snapped by Joe. He took this shot during our ride home from school.

Driving too and from school, we pass many school buses. Sometimes, we count the number of school buses we see on our way to school. One morning, we counted all the way to 65. 65! That’s a great many school buses.
