Yesterday I showed the reaction I get when I ask Cherokee if she wants to go for a walk. Here is Wilbur’s reaction to the following question, “Wilbur, do you want a treat?!”

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

Affirmative.
🙂
Ditto.
Those eyes … they could melt any heart.
Blessings
Amen. (Blessings to you, too, Maxi.)
Awww. Hey, is this deja vu?
One wasn’t enough, was it?
Look at those shining eyes. He wants a treat.
He always wants a treat, Karyn. 🙂
You certainly have his attention. 🙂
It works for me, too. Replace the word ‘treat’ for ‘ice cream’, and I’m all ears. 🙂
Makes me miss having a dog. One day, we’ll get one. For now, we have a lovely little guinea pig- and when we go up to her cage asking if she wants a treat, she squeals and whistles with delight and anticipation.
Guinea pigs are great, Susan. Joe’s classroom had one, and we’d keep him on weekends. Charlie’s class has a Bearded dragon – those aren’t nearly as cute and cuddly.
Awwwww! Love him.
Thanks, Angie. Me too.
