My husband’s grandmother used to have a house in Cape Breton, but we never had vacation time. Someday, I’ll get there. Glad you had a good time.
Oh Julie – if you can get to Cape Breton, do it! The landscape on that side of Nova Scotia is a whole ‘nuther kind of beauty. You are too close to not visit. (That statement coming from someone who has yet to experience Disney World.)
The sweet smell of hay reminds me of hay rides and country roads; fun and laughter on a cool winter night. Life is good…
