Many of us need a cool place to escape from the heat. May this picture take you there, at least in your mind.
I hope you will join me in taking a moment to give thanks for the blessings (y)our life, because we have many.

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

That is such a wonderful picture and you are so right…we have so many blessings. Andy made his debut today—check it out ! http://bethannchiles.com/2012/07/01/amazon-teachers-and-andy-the-armadillo/
The picture was taken at Lily’s house. Lily’s two legged owner is my boss. She has the best breakroom ever! 🙂
Wow that’s beautiful.
*sigh* I know. I like it when they go out of town, and I can spend a night or two there. I pretend I am at a resort.
Wow, it sure did! Thank you!
Good deal, Jules. I hope you remained cool all day long. Sha’woo it’s hot, eh?
I JUST FINISHED MY CHEMO 5 WK’S AGO, I COUNT MY MANY BLESSINGS EVERY DAY!!
BEAUTIFUL PICTURE.
Congrats, Libby! I am glad you liked the picture. I send you and Melody my best.
Hi,
A gorgeous infinity pool, a really nice view.
Hello Mags, not too bad, eh? The picture was taken at my boss’ house.
I wouldn’t mind being there while I count my many blessings! 🙂 Lovely.
Amen, Patti. Seems the perfect place to count one’s blessings. 🙂
I would love to be relaxing there. Today I am especially thankful for electricity and air conditioning. We had no electricity yesterday and a high temp of 102. Yesterday I was thankful I could visit my granddaughter at her house and enjoy their air conditioning.
My friend in Richmond has been without power since Friday. I am so sorry you guys were hit with the storms. 1 million without power is incredible (incredibly bad), especially in the intense heat. I am glad you had another place to go for air conditioning, Susan. I hope your electricity stays on and the storms disappear.
Is that real or did I just imagine it was there.
Oh… it’s real. My boss’ house. As I said earlier, she has the best breakroom ever. 🙂
Oops. Meant to add this thing up there…?
🙂
Not too shabby!
I love those pools that look like they flow off… into… nowhere like that.
Beautiful.
As long as they’re not too deep, that is.
😉
I love those types of pools, too. I’ve never been in one. Even when I took the boys to my boss’ house to swim, I did not get in the water because I was sick. (This is at my boss’ house.) There is plenty of shallow end, SIG. You’d be safe.
Aaah, my eyes are closed as I slip into the cool, refreshing water. As my eyes open, I am grateful for the beauty of nature that fills my world.
Blessings – Maxi
Glad you enjoyed the little escape. No towel required.
