Last night was an active night in the sky. Did you see the “Supermoon“? Did you see the Eta Aquarid meteor shower?
Around 9pm, Rob and I walked out to see the large moon. While I don’t claim to have the best pictures of the supermoon, I tried to capture it. I couldn’t pick just one to share, so enjoy the lot of ’em.
I am thankful for the moon and the gravity it provides us hear on earth. Goodness knows, I need something to keep me grounded.
Have a wonderful Sunday. Take time to rest.

Lovely photos, Lenore! I didn’t get to see the super moon here because it was too cloudy.
Thank you, Jackie. I couldn’t pick just one, so I wanted to share the bunch. My camera is not suited for these kind of shots, but I thought what I captured was good enough.
I thought something was up with the moon. Rick called me on the way home from the farm to take a look. I saw part of it through our trees.
I’m glad Rick called and you were able to see it. The brightness was amazing!
Beautiful. I watched it for awhile, but the camera was not charged so didn’t capture any shots.
Thank you, K8. I’m glad you were able to see it ‘live’.
Wow! We completely forgot about it. Stupid Stupid us!
Not stupid! I took these pictures so you could see it! No worries, Kim. I’ve gotcha covered! 🙂
We couldn’t see it for the fog and overcast sky. I was a bit disappointed. So, thanks for posting it today. 🙂 Great shots. My favorite has the tree silhouettes.
You are welcome, Patti. I think my favorite is the shot through the trees, with the green color showing.
I missed it, too, Ms. D!
D-oh!
These are very cool, though… why, I might even go as far as to call them… super!
🙂
So glad you got to see it! I totally missed out. But now I have this picture! 🙂
I am glad you stopped by to see the super-moon, Jules. Hopefully you’ll catch the next one in the year 2034. (Ha. I’m kidding.)
