In case you are new here, I am on day seven of 25 days and 25 different performances of the Christmas song, “O Holy Night”. For those of you who are not new, please pardon my repetitive opening throughout the course of these 25 days.
Two of my sisters and I love the song “O Holy Night”. After a series of emails with one of my sisters, I came up with the idea of sharing different versions/performances of the song “O Holy Night”.
Welcome to version number seven.
Today’s version of “O Holy Night” is distinguishably different from previous versions. Rest assured, you will not find Cartmen or dogs in this version. Rather, this version is instrumental, and only one instrument is used.
The player of the instrument has a long history with many singers and rockers. When he is not performing with other artists, he is busy wearing his hat as a conservationist and working on his tree farm in Macon, GA. After listening to him play ‘O Holy Night’, I hope you will take a moment and check out his website. Perhaps you’d like to purchase his children’s book “The Tree Farmer” for a child this holiday season.
Please enjoy listening to Chuck Leavell’s “O Holy Night”, as he plays his piano.
Excellent!! Tender, pure and to the heart.
My feeling exactly, Maxi.
Love it. Simple and clean.
Agreed, Jackie. Thank you for listening.
Nope. Still can’t play the audio. Never fear I won’t give up. Yet.
Ding dangity. Well, thanks for visiting, Lisa. I do appreciate your time. 🙂
