‘Is it live or is it Memorex?’ What a dated title, eh? Oh well. I’m going with it.

Robert Siegel, from NPR’s All Things Considered, was interviewing George Clooney. When asked about the attention George receives from fans, George responds:

“I’ve walked with very famous people down red carpets over to the crowd of thousands of people,” he says, “and you’ll reach out to shake their hand and they’ve got a camera in their hand. And they don’t even get their hand out, because they’re recording the whole time. And you can tell people that you recorded Brad Pitt, but it would be very hard for you to say you actually met him, because you were watching it all through your phone. Inspired by Pancakes

My marriage is not perfect. In fact, I started this blog over two years ago, because my marriage wasn’t perfect. I was a mess, the marriage was a mess, and I needed an outlet. (Writing, people. My outlet was writing.)

Fast forward to today, and my marriage is solid, not perfect – solid. Rob and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary later this year, and it has taken us nearly 9 years to solidify our marriage. Continue reading “Inspired by Pancakes”

Calcium has nothing to do with it.

Salutations, readers! Welcome to Monday’s Listicles, a weekly creation started by Stasha at The Good Life.

Today, in honor of Valentine’s Day, Stasha is asking us to focus on love. Planning a love post for tomorrow, I had no intentions of participating today. However, my intentions changed due to a weekend blog post. The blogger mentioned something that stopped me in my tracks. This was the second time I was stopped in my tracks about the same topic, and I found  myself on a mission.
