Reflections while crossing the bridge

While looking around for the perfect picture to use for the first entry in my pictorial journal, I noticed the reflection of our Christmas tree in a framed photo on the wall. In addition, I noticed the light, from the light on the mantel and the sun through the window.

The glow from the light on the mantel shows off the Christmas tree Charlie made this year in school. The light coming in through the window shows light beyond the tree – beyond Christmas – into the new year.

A Year in Photos: Project 366, Day 1

Inspired by Stasha and Kim, I’ve decided to take part in posting one photo every day for the next 366 days of 2012: Project 366.

While I hope you will enjoy my year in photos, I am looking forward to saving these moments for my kids. One thing blogging has given me is an opportunity to document special times with the boys, as well as share stories that I hope they find entertaining when they get older.

Yes Virginia, this is another re-post.

Out with the old and in with the – well, old.

In my opinion, Bridget over at Twinisms said it best, “[Resolutions] are stupid.” So, I’m not making any resolutions. But…

I will try to write more works of fiction with the coming new year. I may also try to run a mile a day every day. Frankly, I think running a mile a day every day would be easier than writing works of fiction. Continue reading “Yes Virginia, this is another re-post.”
