Project 366: Day 29

Can you believe it is the last Sunday in January? Though I’ve yet to make a dent in the 366 days of photographs, I am nearly done with the first month. Wow.

In this crazy busy world, during your crazy busy life, please find time to ‘stop’. Take time to breath and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.

Project 366: Day 28

Rob’s favorite flower is the daffodil. He likes the fact that the blooming of daffodils indicate we are getting closer to warmer weather and longer daylight.

We do not do gardening. Any flowers, trees or landscape one may find in our yard is due to the previous owner. Sadly, we purchased this house nearly 10yrs ago, and the previous owner has not returned to maintain her hard work. Which brings me to the reason why I like daffodils: they are robust flowers. (Azaleas, too, for that matter.) Regardless of our brown thumbs, we are greeted by several areas of daffodils in late winter/early spring.

Based on the flower, the seasons are starting to change. I hope you find a ‘spring’ in your step today.

Aroused :: A Drabble

This is getting tough. Rather, this is getting tougher.

I started with Drabble Fridays, because I was way impressed by Stevil’s work, and I wanted to see if I could curb my chattiness to 100 words. My first one or two attempts were fun, so I started taking part in flash fiction challenges.

Well, the flash seems to have hit the wall, or something. Writer’s block is crashing down on me. I applaud every single person who is able to create a work of fiction on a daily basis.
