I’m cranky, but there is something about holiday lights that helps quiet my crankiness. Oh, I don’t claim to be cranky-free by just a quick glance at our tree, but it does act as a nice reminder of all that is good and all that is bright. Again, look for the light, and you’ll be better able to find peace.

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

Your tree is so colorful, sure to brighten a day.
We are enjoying it, Patti. I would love to keep it up year ’round, but I suppose it would ruin the specialness of the season.
Wow! Your tree is an eyeful, beautiful. Nice reflection on the glass.
Blessings ~ Maxi
The kids did pretty good, eh, Maxi? I love it. And yes, the surrounding windows make for beautiful reflections. Blessings to you.
Love the boys’ Christmas chain. Beautiful and peaceful tree. ♪All is bright, all is calm♫
Thank you, Georgette. There is so much fun stuff on this tree. I am so glad the boys decorated it.
Gorgeous. Makes me want some lights in my house!
SD, when I was single, I had lights hanging throughout my place – dorm room, apartment, in-law suite, etc. Even when I moved back in with my *cough* parents for a bit, I put lights up in my bedroom. The lights were there year round. I loved it. Do it!!
Must get lights!
I agree. Holiday lights uplift the spirit. You need the boost, what with all you’ve been through lately.
And the lights are boosting our spirits, Linda.
