And so begins a new week. Spring breaks has ended, and the kids are headed back to school.
The lonely tire swing dangles, waiting for the kids to return one day.

I am married. We have two boys, two dogs, and two cats. I am on the Oxford Comma team. I look forward to my first large cup of coffee, black, every single morning, and I look forward to that second large cup of coffee, still black, every single afternoon.

Oh, the hours I spent in a tire swing as a child. With a book. Or a kitten. Sometimes I long for those days (but not usually, my childhood was pretty rough). But those quiet, sunlit days of summer spent entertaining ourselves do bring back some good memories.
Nice photo, again.
Thank you, K8; again.
The tire swing is at my brother’s house, but I am thinking we need one at our house. Quiet sunlit days of summer sounds peaceful. Then the humidity hits…
A tire swing at rest, but soon summer and lots of time for play!
You got that right, Chris. Thank you for visiting.
Man I’m moving in!!!
Okay … but that’s at my brother’s house. I’d rather you move in with us.
I love this! It evokes childhood the way it’s supposed to be, and the colors are so sharp and crisp.
Thank you, Peg. We really need to get a tire swing at our house. The one pictured is located at my brother’s house.
Oh I remember the tire swing at my Mema’s house when I was a yungin’. Great memories. Great shot Lenore!
Thank you so much, Leah. Really, really appreciate your kind words.
This one makes me all nostalgic…
and a bit dizzy, too (but that’s half the fun, right)?!
🙂
My secret for not getting dizzy is … always be the swinger and not the swing’ee.
Hey you got a photo of two zeros for your 100! Congrats on day 100!
You noticed! Ha. I wish I realized what I had done. Thanks for ‘seeing’ more to the photo, Stasha. You have an excellent eye.
I love this shot. We had a tire swing once upon a time. Good memories!
Glad I could trigger some good memories for you, Darla. I always hate it when I trigger bad memories.
