What a thoughtful, raw and honest post. I am sorry for the loss of her brother. I am still struggling to write a post about my dad dying 20 years ago, but I just can’t seem to know where to begin or if the words I put down will even do his memory justice. But it’s something I feel I must do to help heal.
Darla just start writing. Seriously. (You may have done that countless times already.) Trust yourself and your heart. Your words will come, I assure you. Having lost my Dad 17yrs ago, I treasure posts about the loss of a loved one. I’m not sure if that makes sense or not. It just lets me know I am not alone in my grief. Write. 🙂 ~ Lenore
Thank you, Lenore. I appreciate that. I have started many times only to scrap it entirely. There is just so much I want to say. I may have to write it in two parts so the reader doesn’t get bogged down reading such a lengthy post.
Thanks for reposting, Lenore…I commented over there…

Thank you, Wendy. As one might expect, she’s having a hard time. ~ Lenore
