Flash Fiction: The Car

Once again, I chose to take part in Sioban’s Thursday Threads Challenge. Just like last week, this piece is to be more than 100 words, less than 250 words and contain a prompt from the previous week’s winner.

The prompt for this challenge is “Sure you are, tough guy”, and this bit of fiction is inspired by a fellow blogger, Kim, the G is Silent and her adventures with Passat Girl. I’ve also pulled in another person from within the blogosphere, Bridget (aka Twinisms). I never-met Bridget through Kim, whom I never-met through another blogger.

His name was Milo Scaggins.

I’m at it again. I’m taking part in another flash fiction challenge. My hope is that these challenges will help me build my writing muscles.

Writing about myself day in and day out is ‘easy’, whereas trying to create a fictitious story is hard (for me). Oh, and did I mention the fact that, during Christmas my brother made a comment to me about my writing? Yeah, I took his comment to mean something along the lines of, “If you are telling stories about yourself, it’s not really writing.”
