December 3rd – Version Three

In case you are new here, I am on day three of 25 days and 25 different performances of the Christmas song, “O Holy Night”. For those that are not new here, please pardon my repetitive opening throughout the course of these 25 days.

Two of my sisters and I love the song “O Holy Night”. After a series of emails with one of my sisters, I came up with the idea of sharing different versions/performances of the song “O Holy Night”.

The Proverbial Bridge

Patti left me a comment. She wrote, “I don’t know if you “do” awards, but I have one for you on Thursday’s blog if interested.”

When I read her comment, I chuckled to myself. Who doesn’t appreciate a kind word? Who doesn’t appreciate a special nod, letting you know that what you do makes a difference in the life of someone else?

Don’t get me wrong, I am not equating a nod from a friend to curing Polio or winning the Nobel prize. However, if you are able to make someone smile, help him/her get through a rough day, or just give someone’s stress filled mind a bit of respite for a moment or two, is that not something to appreciate? December 2nd and a 2nd version to the song

As I said yesterday, two sisters of mine and I love the song, “O Holy Night”. Earlier this week, one of the sisters and I were going back and forth with emails about which performer’s version of “O Holy Night” was the best version.
