In case you are new here, I am on day thirteen of 25 days and 25 different performances of the Christmas song, “O Holy Night”. For those of you who are not new, please pardon my repetitive opening throughout the course of these 25 days.
Two of my sisters and I love the song “O Holy Night”. After a series of emails with one of my sisters, I came up with the idea of sharing different versions/performances of the song “O Holy Night”.
Welcome to version number thirteen.
Today is another instrumental version of “O Holy Night”. This performer was known for his glitz and glamor. Dazzling capes and fabulous gems, he was a diamond studded showman – a true and talented showman. Sadly, we lost him (and many others) to complications from AIDS.
Please, light the candelabra on top of your mirrored grand piano, and enjoy the talent of Liberace, as he performs “O Holy Night”.
Liberace! How fun.
I bet he put on an amazing show. I would have enjoyed seeing him live.
He was quite the entertainer, as you mentioned the glitz and glamour. Much talent.
I hope you liked it, Patti. We are nearing the top 10 list. I’m getting excited. (Of course, these are my top 10 – some may disagree.)
That was a trip…..:-)
Glad you liked it, Bella. Thanks for visiting.
Thank you, Lenore. Liberace reminds me of my childhood. My mom used to watch his TV specials and play records (yes, actual records) all the time. This is a good one:)
You’re welcome, Bridget. I am glad you liked listening to him. As I have said in previous comments, he was a showman and fun to watch. By the way, we still have records. Real ones. 🙂
