Project 366: Day 183

Many of us need a cool place to escape from the heat. May this picture take you there, at least in your mind.

I hope you will join me in taking a moment to give thanks for the blessings (y)our life, because we have many.

  1. That is such a wonderful picture and you are so right…we have so many blessings. Andy made his debut today—check it out ! http://bethannchiles.com/2012/07/01/amazon-teachers-and-andy-the-armadillo/

  2. Wow, it sure did! Thank you!

  3. I JUST FINISHED MY CHEMO 5 WK’S AGO, I COUNT MY MANY BLESSINGS EVERY DAY!!
    BEAUTIFUL PICTURE.

  4. Hi,
A gorgeous infinity pool, a really nice view.

  5. I wouldn’t mind being there while I count my many blessings! :) Lovely.

  6. I would love to be relaxing there. Today I am especially thankful for electricity and air conditioning. We had no electricity yesterday and a high temp of 102. Yesterday I was thankful I could visit my granddaughter at her house and enjoy their air conditioning.

    • My friend in Richmond has been without power since Friday. I am so sorry you guys were hit with the storms. 1 million without power is incredible (incredibly bad), especially in the intense heat. I am glad you had another place to go for air conditioning, Susan. I hope your electricity stays on and the storms disappear.

  7. Is that real or did I just imagine it was there.

  8. Oops. Meant to add this thing up there…?

  9. Not too shabby!
I love those pools that look like they flow off… into… nowhere like that.
    Beautiful.
As long as they’re not too deep, that is. ;)

    • I love those types of pools, too. I’ve never been in one. Even when I took the boys to my boss’ house to swim, I did not get in the water because I was sick. (This is at my boss’ house.) There is plenty of shallow end, SIG. You’d be safe.

  10. Aaah, my eyes are closed as I slip into the cool, refreshing water. As my eyes open, I am grateful for the beauty of nature that fills my world.
    Blessings – Maxi
