Project 366: Day 182

Guess what, Kids! It’s a girl and a boy! That’s right, I have two more pooches to share with you, closing out the week of the dogs.

Please say Hello to Kaia and Cole, two very sweet labs I am watching for the night. Their Mom and Dad will return in the morning.

Happy Saturday!

  1. Oh I want to snuggle them both! You must be the resident doggy sitter!!!!!

    • Those puppies weren’t actually staying with me, so I didn’t get to visit with them as much as I would have liked. The blonde lab, Kaia, is a fetcher. She and I did have a good game of ball toss, but it was hot – so I didn’t toss the ball too long.

  2. I love how Labs always look ever-so-slightly worried at the same time as looking really happy.

    • Truth be told (behind the scenes info) both pooches were worried about the leftover dinner on the kitchen counter, and both wanted to make sure the food wasn’t taken away while each was busy smiling for the camera. :)

  3. Aren’t they sweet? A lot of pet sitting going on at your house these days! I hope the bunny is doing well also.

    • The bunny is doing well, Jackie. That bunny is so funny. Truly. He is holding his own in this dog world, though he is never roaming free while the dogs are inside.

  4. Aww … labs … stick a fork in me, I’m done. Cole’s white face reminds me of my Frankie.

Bet your boys are loving all the 4 legged friends around :)

    MJ

    • I think it is a black lab thing, MJ. I see Wilbur in your Frankie, and I saw Wilbur in Cole. Our aging black labs are handsome pooches! And yes, Joe and Charlie are enjoying Sundae the Shiatsu. Cole and Kaia stayed at their house, so the boys didn’t get to play with those two. Actually, the boys prefer Jojo the bunny to Sundae. Shhh.. don’t tell Sundae. :)

  5. What cuties. The black one makes me think of Miss Maggie Mae.

  6. Awww. So cute. I love when you can see their age in their faces. Gray ol’ fella.

  7. Holy molie Ms. D! It’s a good thing these dogs all seem so friendly… sounds like they are all getting along pretty well, though? :)

    • I know, right? I would not take care of any dog that did not get along with other dogs. I always have a meet and greet before saying ‘Yes, I’ll watch your dog.’

  8. Kaia reminds me of our favorite dog Cloe. Cloe was one of the family. Sadly, she passed away. My husband wants another dog and looking at your pictures makes me want one, too.

    • I am so sorry Chloe passed away. Dogs are wonderful companions. I still miss my Lina-loo, who passed away 8yrs ago. I hope a new dog will come into your life. Think of the smiles. :)

That was my thought on the matter. Your comment?
